Game Info
Here are the basic airsoft rules for the facility:
- All players must wear paintball approved masks while on the field (per ASTM F1776-01 Standard Specification for Eye Protective Devices for PAINTBALL Sports). The masks must cover the eyes, mouth and ears. They must not be modified/altered in any form. Ballistic goggles, mesh goggles, shooting glasses, etc. will NOT be allowed (paintball mask rental is included with entry).
- Players must put a barrel blocking device (barrel bag) on their airsoft gun and remove their magazine while they are off the field. Airsoft pistols must be holstered at all times while off the field.
- Airsoft guns must be chronographed to 400 feet per second or less using .2 gram bb's. White River Paintball will provide the chronograph, chronograph area and .2 gram bb's (at the chrono).
- Sniper rifles must be chronographed to 500 feet per second or less using .2 gram bb's. Sniper rifles must be single or bolt action ONLY. Semi-auto and full-auto modes MUST be PERMANENTLY disabled. Players using sniper rifles must have a spotter (additional player), must NOT engage players within 100 feet and must carry a secondary weapon. If the spotter is eliminated, the sniper can only continue using his secondary weapon. Also, sniper rifle use may be limited in certain missions/scenarios (urban, close quarters, etc.).
- NOTE: Players using sniper rifles WILL be held to a much higher standard. Violation of sniper rifle rules may result in removal from the facility, without refund, and permanent ban.
- Players are not allowed to fire within 15 feet of each other. Instead, they must call "bang" or "surrender". Players are not allowed to "turn and fire" if they are surrendered. Players who call surrender at the same time are both out.
- Players must high grade bb's. bb's must weigh no more than .25 grams. Low grade/colored bb's (such as the ones purchased at Wal-mart) will not be allowed.
- All airsoft games will be refereed. Referees are there soley to ensure safe play and not to call hits. Players who do not follow the airsoft safety rules will be removed from the airsoft field by the referees.
- No metal bb's, no blind firing, no physical contact.
- Additional rules of the game, airsoft battle objectives, etc. will be explained the day of the event.
