July 15, 2020

By: White River Paintball

As the conditions of COVID-19 continue to evolve and as we continue to comply with local, state and CDC regulations, we are updating our COVID-19 health and safety protocols:

  • Enhanced cleaning protocols: We have increased the frequency of cleaning of both our rental equipment our pro-shop. This will include our standard cleaning procedures as well as additional disinfecting procedures to ensure rental equipment has been thoroughly disinfected.
  • Hand sanitizer: Aside from our flush restrooms having hot water and antibacterial soap, hand sanitizer will also be available in our pro-shop.
  • No physical contact: Customers and employees must refrain from engaging in any physical contact including handshakes, fist bumps, hugs, etc.
  • Updated waiver procedure: We will no longer be providing iPads for customers to complete their digital waivers. Players must complete their online waiver either at home or by using their own smart phone. Free guest WiFi will be available throughout the facility.
  • Open-air registration: To prevent players from congregating in our pro-shop we are utilizing the open-air outdoor registration windows at our pro-shop.
  • (Scenario Events Only) A face mask will be provided: Each scenario player will be provided with one face mask in their registration packet. Additional face masks will be available for sale in the pro-shop for $1 each, including sales tax.
  • (Open Play & Private Parties Only) Limited number of customers in pro-shop: No more than 6 open play or private party customers are allowed inside the pro-shop at one time, including while inside the flush restrooms.
  • Face masks required in pro-shop: All staff, customers, players, and visitors must wear a face mask while inside the pro-shop, including while inside the flush restrooms, and must not congregate.
  • (Open Play & Private Parties Only) Safety briefings and pre-game briefings held outdoors: All safety briefings and pre-game briefings will be held outdoors. Players must practice social distancing during the briefing and should wear a mask to help protect our staff and other paintball players.
  • (Scenario Events Only) Face masks required during safety briefings and pre-game briefings: All scenario players must wear a face mask during all safety briefings and pre-game briefings.
  • Social distancing: We strongly encourage social distancing at our facility, which means that players and staff should remain at least 6 feet apart from each other. When this is not possible, players and staff should wear a face mask.
  • Temperature taking: We will be taking the temperature of every customer at our facility (including players, employees, delivery drivers, parents, etc.) using a no-contact thermometer. If the temperature readout is 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher (based on CDC guidelines), we will give the person an opportunity to cool down inside their vehicle. If they are unable to reduce temperature upon a 2nd reading, they we be asked to leave.
  • Employees and customers who are feeling sick or unwell: Customers and employees who are feeling sick or unwell should not visit our facility until they are feeling healthy and well.
  • If you tested positive for COVID-19: If you have tested positive for COVID-19, you must refrain from visiting our facility until you have been re-tested and your test has come back “negative” for COVID-19. If you live in the same household as another who has tested positive for COVID-19: If you live in the same household as another who has recently tested positive for COVID-19, you must refrain from visiting our facility until both you and the member of your household who had COVID-19, have been re-tested and both of your tests have come back “negative” for COVID-19, OR until after you have self-quarantined for 14 days and did not have any symptoms of COVID-19 during the 14 day quarantine, per CDC guidelines.
  • If you have come in close contact with another who has tested positive for COVID-19: If you have been in close contact (per CDC guidelines) with anyone who has recently tested positive for COVID-19 or who has COVID-19 symptoms, you must refrain from visiting our facility until either you have been tested and your test has come back “negative” for COVID-19, OR until after you have self-quarantined for 14 days and did not have any symptoms of COVID-19 during the 14 day quarantine, per CDC guidelines.

We ask that everyone take the safety of the paintball community and our staff seriously and want to ensure every customer and staff member remains safe.
