Is there a risk of contracting COVID-19 at White River Paintball?

Exposure to COVID-19 is an inherent risk in any location where people are present and we cannot guarantee you will not be exposed during your visit.

However, we take the health and safety of our customers and staff very seriously. You can read all about the safety precautions we are taking on a daily basis to help protect everyone who visits our facility.

Is paintball safe?

If you follow all of the safety precautions, paintball is very, very safe. In fact, due to the constant supervision and mandatory safety gear provided by White River Paintball, paintball is one of the safest sports in the country - safer than bowling!

We take all of the necessary safety precautions to ensure that you have fun, exciting paintball experience. Safety measures include a full safety briefing before play, full referee supervision throughout the day, reducing the speed of each paintball gun to a safe level, ensuring every player has full head and eye protection at all times during play and not allowing players to shoot each other within 15 feet.

White River Paintball has been in operation since 1999 and has one of the best safety records in the industry.

Trust White River Paintball for a day of safe, exciting paintball fun!

Do you still play if it is raining or snowing?

Yes. We play rain, snow or shine.

Heck, playing in the rain and snow is more fun anyway!

Private Party cancellations due to lightning, blizzards or unsafe weather conditions are at the sole discretion of White River Paintball.

How old do I have to be to play paintball?

You must be at least 8 years old to play in a Private Party, and you must be at least 10 years old to play in Open Play and Scenario Events.

Does it hurt when you get hit by a paintball?

Paintballs may sting a little upon impact, but the pain goes away within a few seconds. White River Paintball takes precautions to ensure all paintball markers are firing at safe speeds and we also have a mandatory 15-foot "surrender" rule. We also use a custom paintball specially formulated for the perfect shell thickness, to ensure the paintball is not too hard.

We routinely have players as young as 8 years old (including Girl Scouts) play at our facility.

If you are worried about the pain, we recommend you rent a camoflauge jumpsuit and body armor, which will help reduce paintball impact.

Are you open year round?

Yes. We are open year round. The snow and cold won't get in your way!
